This has absolutely nothing to do with politics and it has everything to do with politics.

In a world where people struggle each and every day to make it into a school of their choice legitimately (in some cases being placed under more scrutiny than their privileged counterparts) and then survive on ramen when they arrive, here come the privileged few who can afford to bribe their kids’ ways in and then afford to pay for the school afterward.

I have only one question: Will any of these very white-ly privileged people see the inside of a jail cell for any significant duration? I’m gonna say nope.

The judge will probably say something along the lines of, “Everybody calm down, this isn’t as bad as murder or whatnot” (false equivalence, anyone?), and then letting them off with a warning not to do it again. (No prob, their kids are already in.)

We’ll just have to wait and see how everything shakes out.
